Sept. 19-21 Directed Silent Retreat This retreat offers the opportunity to sink deeply into silence, both outer and inner, in the peaceful, nurturing atmosphere of Queenswood Centre. With your own spiritual or religious views as a starting place, a spiritual director will accompany you on an inner journey as you listen to the voice of the Divine within your heart.
Fee: $299. for the weekend, starting Friday with supper until Sunday at 3 pm.
No commuters. Sabbaticals fee $105.
This retreat will be led by one of Queenswood’s most experienced Retreat Teams: Barbara Baillie, Peter Boles, and Barbara Holt. Barbara Baillie is a dynamic teacher, spiritual director, and a workshop and retreat leader. Peter Boles is a spiritual director, ecumenical in outlook, with a passion for silent retreats. Barbara is a spiritual director and retreat facilitator with a background in Ignatian Spirituality.
Sept. 26-28 Monica Brown Weekend Retreat
Sept. 29-Oct. 2 Story-Catching: Guided Autobiography Retreat Gain self-knowledge as you write your life story during this special retreat experience. Writing your story is a creative way to explore how you have invested yourself in the activities of life. This exploration will lead to greater clarity about your personal values and goals, and a future plan that reflects your true self. This program is for everyone: it only requires the desire and commitment to write. Program includes group interaction and sharing as well as plenty of time for reflection and writing.
Retreat begins Monday with supper and closes with lunch on Thursday.

Nancy Gray-Hemstock, MSW, brings many years of experience leading, facilitating and teaching workshops and retreats. Nancy is a social worker, Hospice volunteer, and certified Sage-ing® Seminar Leader. She delights in facilitating, interviewing and guiding personal autobiography from a place of personal experience, integrity, spiritual maturity and respect.
