the therapeutic pool
The Queenswood pool is a wonderful place to stretch and relax . The pool is maintained at 90°F / 32.2°C, a therapeutic temperature that alleviates pain and muscle spasms.
Pool use is included in retreat fees. The pool is open for guests to use at any time during their stay, and an evening swim can be a wonderful way to end the day.
Other guests who wish to use the pool are welcome to do so for an $9 drop-in fee at the hospitality office, or can purchase a membership at $240 per year. If you're purchasing a pool membership mid-year, the membership price is prorated.
Please note that the pool does not have a lifeguard and so is oriented for adult use. Before your first visit, you'll need to sign a waiver form that acknowledges this.
Our pool is 18 x 38 feet long, spacious but designed for relaxation rather than serious aerobic activity. For guests who are interested in swimming for exercise, the University of Victoria's McKinnon Pool provides 6 lanes for laps, just a 15 minute walk or 3 minute bus ride away.
