meditation and recovery retreat
Using the Serenity Prayer and Step Eleven as touchstones, this weekend explores the role meditation plays in recovery. Using the embodied style of practice pioneered by Dr. Reggie Ray, we are given the opportunity to rediscover the stillness and guidance that lay in the heart of our beings. Experiential and discussion-based learning are engaged as we consider how to connect with these in an ongoing way and how to carry them out into our lives. In the end, we will emerge from this retreat with renewed appreciation for the possibilities we encounter as we live one moment at a time.
